Thank you VICC! We finally ”took off”, starting the work with ”Tistou” in two intense weeks at Visby International Center for Composers. SO incredible creative!
Thanks to financial supports from Cultural Council (Kulturrådet), Helge Ax:son Jonsson foundation, Stockholm city and Writers Guild of Sweden (Dramatikerförbunet) and FST, my dear companion/librettist/director Kerstin Perski and myself will create a musical drama from ”Tistou”. We will collaborate with Teater Barbara and fabulous actor Anders Jansson, Stockholm Saxophone Quartet and light designer Lina Benneth. After many years of projecting, planning, promoting – we are excited to have started this work in progress towards a performance for age 6-8. Planned premiere December 2026.
Our goal is to, via Kerstin Perski´s doctoral thesis end up with a beautiful poetic musical drama based on Tistou, green thumbs (Maurice Druon 1961).
